“The Deepfake”

This video just shook me to my core. The fact that people have the power to fake what other people say and do using technology is as amazing as it is wrong. Human development has reach the point where we can make this technology is great and all, but what isn’t great is how the technology can be used. The 2020 election is a great example of how this technology could be used to deceive people into thinking one of the candidates is not good for the job. This can ruin people’s lives on the internet and the real world. People need to keep this technology in good hands because if it falls into the wrong hands, it could have a massive impact that no one will see coming or know about until it is too late.
